"I graduated college in 2013 with a degree in Elementary Education. For several years, I worked with children in different settings while also providing pet care part time. I quickly realized my true passion was for animals and decided to leave education to become a full time pet sitter.

I started working on Rover full time. After several years on Rover, I decided I wanted to provide pet parents with a more personalized and affordable alternative. I started Paws, Claws, Scales, & Tails in December 2021 and have enjoyed every minute of it.

I have a true passion for animals. My husband and I have three (we just sent our 4th across the rainbow bridge) dogs and six cats. We also foster for the Puurrrfect Paws Cat Rescue. I absolutely love all animals, big or small, scaley or furry. I cannot wait to meet you and your precious pets!"

"Hi, I'm Abbey! I have been working with animals since I was a kid- pet sitting for neighbors and taking in anything I could find that needed a home! I got my first job as a groomers assistant and kennel attendant when I was 13! I worked there for years, then as a veterinarian assistant and kennel manager through high school and college. After college until I became a stay at home mom, I went back to working for the groomer as a professional groomer and managing the kennel again. Since then I have been pet sitting or doing animal care for the elderly whenever possible. I have owned many animals from cats and dogs to mice and prairie dog. Currently, I have a dog and a foster cat! I look forward to caring for your pets as I would my own!"
